BAKER HERITAGE MUSEUM

It is truly a historical location. In 1982, the Baker County Museum Commission established the Baker Heritage Museum (formally the Oregon Trail Regional Museum). The museum is located in the 100-year old Baker Municipal Natatorium, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977. Presently, the museum is a two-story interpretive collection of Baker County’s history. To be more specific, there are items from the 1860s through 1960s. Core exhibits in the museum are the Baker County industries (logging, ranching, and mining), historical Baker City, Wally Byam’s Airstream experience, Chinese heritage, native and non-native wildlife, and a collection of regional Native American artefacts, including stone tools.
NATIONAL HISTORIC OREGON TRAIL INTERPRETIVE CENTER (NHOTIC)

This local attraction in Baker City, near the El Dorado Inn motel offers living history demonstrations, interpretive programs, exhibits, multi-media presentations, as well as special events, and more than four miles of interpretive trails.
Using life-size displays, films and live theater presentations, this Center tells the story of Oregon Trail pioneers of the frontier west. The 500 acre site includes remnants of the historic Flagstaff Gold Mine, actual ruts carved by pioneer wagons, and magnificent vistas of the historic trail route.
GEISER POLLMAN PARK

Anthony Lake Campground is in the Southern Elkhorn Mountain/Powder River Basin Area. On top of it all, the highest peak is in the Elkhorn Mountains at 9,108 feet! People love the area around the lake. It is known for conifer forests, wildflower meadows and the resident mountain goats. Definitely a Local Attraction in Baker City you should check out.
ADLER HOUSE MUSEUM

Listen to his story and feel the presence of his family as you wander through the rooms of the house on a guided tour. The downstairs parlor has been restored using elegant period wallpaper. All furniture, artwork and light fixtures are original.
Imagine sharing a meal with Leo around the dining room table while he regales you with stories of his magazine empire and how he amassed the $21 million fortune he left to Baker County.
